Hi. I went to the doctor last Tuesday and was told that a lymph node on the left side of my neck behind my ear was swelled and that I needed to go get an ultrasound done the next day. I had it done and went back to her office the day after for the results. She put me on K-pac antibiotics and said to come back in three weeks (2 if it still was giving me a problem). Well, the swelling has gone down a lot, but the pain is still there! It feels like my ear is full, which makes me dizzy. Last night, the pain spread to the back of my neck. Today, my neck feels stiff and painful on the left side, but behind my ear is better! It doesn't even make sense. Has anyone had an issue similiar to this? Or am I the only crazy one? By the way, I haven't been sick (no sore throat, allergies, tooth problem, STDs, none of the symptoms that go along with swollen lymph nodes). I'm most certain it isn't cancer because I've read that cancer ones are hard and they don't hurt. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
