I am a amateur photographer, I have a Nikon d5000 with a Nikkor AF-s VR18-200mm lens. Obviously I know I need to use my full focal of 200mm, but other than that....what would be a good way to set up my manual settings to get the best picture? I was thinking like ISO 100, f/9 1/200....matrix metering? any advice?
