lump under skin on shoulder blade & sore birthmark

Hope i have posted this in the right place.

I have a small flat birthmark on my back about 1/2 inch across, a squiggly shape just under my bra stap, so always covered part from about 4 times a year if i go on holiday and and am brave enouh to wear a bikini It has never caused my any problems.
About 4 weeks ago i noticed when i had a shower and rubbed the towel against it it hurt a bit, this has got worse, so now even when I`m laying or sitting against anytihng i can feel it nigglying away, espically the top edge part.
I took a look at it as best i could last nite, and there seems to be some little red/brown marks that i have never noticed before in it.
Also last night while looking at my birthmark, above it the same side i have got a lump on my shoulder blade, guessing about an inch ish across, no idea how long it`s been there. It`s not to hard, bit squishy and it moves, slightly.kept checking it today, to see if it`s still there and now it really hurts!
Am going to try and get a dr`s appointment, but just wondered if anyones else had anything like tihs or any thoughts?

I think it is a very good idea that you will be seeing a doctor about your birthmark. Any time a freckle or a birthmark, or any other skin discoloration changes...whether in size, shape, or the edges change, it is something a dermatologist must see.

Often times these are melanoma's...not to scare you, but to impress the importance of your decision to see your doctor. Good job!
