I was wondering if anyone could help me with my MRI results?? I have a recent lump under my right shoulder. I have picked up the scans and report but dont see the doc for another week! I dont really know what they mean but have had an untrasound and CT scan in the last 2 weeks and spoken to the doc about them, so am prepared. The report says the discoid structure shows mild T1 hypointensity compared with muscle and is uniformly bright on the STIR images and shows uniform contrast enhancment. Also that it is well defined and does not invade underlying trapezius muscle.
If anyone can offer what this might mean, it would be highly appreciated!!
