lump on back of skull

Bump on back of skull
I'm 25, but noticed a fairly large (1" diameter) circular bump on the upper back left of my skull. It is bone. I'm just wondering why I haven't noticed this before? Could it have recently developed? If so, what could be the causes?

I saw this posted on another board in regards to a lumpy skull:

"Unless you have any other health problems, i.e. fatigue, depression, brain fog, etc, then I really wouldn't worry about it."

I have all of these things!
 
Might be the site of an old injury, just some bump you haven't noticed before or might be a bone cyst or bone tumor (almost always benign). Keep in mind, skulls are naturally bumpy!;)

If you have a mass that's suddenly developed - anywhere on your body - you should see your primary care doc to have them rule out anything serious.
