Slightly to the left and very painful. It has been ther 3 years and I have had my Doctor look at it an was told it was nothing to worry about
 
If it is very painful you need to go back to the doc and see about getting it re-analyzed and removed. It may just be something like a fatty tumor putting pressure on you, but if it is giving you pain, it should be taken out.
 
I agree with Ayvah completely. If it is hurting I would recommend getting it cut out. If it's small enough they can even do it in their office. My SO had a fatty deposit cut out of his arm. They numbed it and took it out in the doc's office.
