Hello,
I recently had a lump at the bottom of my spine, just above my bum. I didn't notice it really until it got to about 1cm and was a resonably hard bump, as far as bumbs go, which isn't painful when pressed and didn't cause discomfort.
I didn't get it checked out or anything because I just thought it was a bump from a bang or something stupid but then about a week after the discovery it started to puss up and after a day or two it burst (sorry for sharing that pretty image with you).
Well I thought good maybe it will just clear up now, I've never had bad acne or anything but I just assumed that now it's pussed up and popped that it should clear up in a few days. I know it's not a usual place to get a 'spot' but I just passed it as that.
Anyway since this lump/spot, whatever, popped its been bleeding. Nothing serious just bleeding a little everynow and again. I kept putting plasters on to stop the blood from getting on my clothes and been keeping it clean.
Over the last week the area has gone a grey colour and a inverted shape. It does sting a little but only when pressured otherwise it causes no discomfort.
I know I should probably see a docter but I've put it off now for a few weeks, which I know I shouldn't, but I thought id ask for a opinion if anyone knows what this could be.
I my contact my docter shortly but would like to hear others opinions because I'm rather self conscious about personal hygiene/health and would like to avoid giving the docter a almost full moon for him to inspect it when chances are it is nothing

Sorry for this long post but to sum up. I currently have a dark, inverted lump above my bum, bottom of spine, which bleeds most days but doesn't hardly cause any discomfort.

P.s. I am 19 and slightly overweight but not obese or anything should you like to know the details if they help.
