I have a known L5S1 herniated disc with mild spinal stenosis and 2 years ago had a torn L4-5 annulus. I have also had 2 surgeries for herniated cervical disc (C5-6) and for instability (4/07) with herniated discs (C3-4, C4-5) so am fused those levels.
Over the past month I am having increasing difficulty walking with speed or distance. I stop and wait for the bilateral pain posterior buttocks and thighs to abait - notice more discomfort left leg, left labia, and feel like I need to void. Now I notice the soles of my feet burn at maximum discomfort but subsides as pain (mild) subsides. The worst for me is leaning forward to push anything. Standing any length of time brings on the same discomfort.
Today after pushing a cart, I had to hold on to the cart and then reach for a chair to sit down as my legs felt rubbery and weak.
I've been doing core strengthening and stretching as best I can with my GERD issue, but this just doesn't seem to be improving.
Any thoughts of what direction I should take now? I'm a 61 yr old female and otherwise in very good health (5'5" 108 lb) and need to keep working
