this is one of the most common findings in LPR (P.C thickening)
if anyone can clear this up for me i'll be very thankful, the first dr i saw said i had a thickening of the posterior commisure, it looks like an interarytenoid bar but i don't know what's the exact name it sorta looks like pachydermia and i read that pachydermia is premalignant. I went to a second ENT who called the same lesion Leukoplakia and i investigated what it was and it turns out it looks nothing like what i have, leukoplakia it's also precancerous, so im panicking right now i'm only 22 i don't wanna develop cancer by the time im 25/30, when i read leukoplakia on my exam i asked my ENT what it was, he remained silent as if he didn't know or was thinking of an answer then my mom who was with me said "because that's just what it's called" then he says leukoplakia are white patches but he didn't said anything about being PRECANCEROUS, i dont trust this doctor at all, after he removed the scope for my nose i asked him: are my vocal folRAB coming together now? he said yes they look great and then seconRAB later he says he will send me to speech therapy because my v.folRAB don't close properly and even wrote it on the exam report, i was like WHAT THE HELL, im going to another ENT this monday im not gonna say anything about the previous exams/ents until i get his diagnose then im gonna bring all my artillery out. Im very hopeless with this thing i been on Prilosec for a month (double dose) and my larynx doesn't look the same IT LOOKS WORSE, if anyone can relate to this it would really make my day...
