Lowering my Ford Expedition?

Hi, I just need a quick question. I know it doesn't make the truck look any better, but is it possible to lower down my ford expedition. it's too high! & I feel unsafe too because its too high. I wanna lower it as low as i can. I'll feel a lot better.. has it been done before, or is it possible.. and how much do u think it would be? I'm also really short so it would help..

please dont say buy another car, i cant right now. Im stuck with it. it is what it is. Though I really do want to lower it
 
another thought check with your insurance company and see if you can lower it.In Va if you lower and in a wreck, its your fault .for driving altered vech.
 
Mikes got a point,,,1500 to 2500 if you can find kit and person to do it,,,[4wd kits are usually to raise trucks] but go to yahoo/google search and try ford expedition 4x4 trucks lowering kit

you dont want to here it but trade it for the truck you want...i had a ford ranger and traded it for a chev s 10,,, almost 4 inches lower,,,
