Lower right back pain HELPPPPPP

Hi everyone i have not used this site before so please bare with me. I started with pain in my lower back on the right side yesterday - by the nighttime it was unbearable and I could not get any ease from it by lying down or standing or sitting, it has got progressively worse overnight and today I am in agony, it does seem to be worse when i am sitting and if i stand for a while it does help to ease it a bit. The pain is excruciating and I am absolutely shattered because i didnt get any sleep whatsoever. I have tried heat on the back but it is not working.

Can anyone suggest what this could be please.
 
My first thought is possibly kidney related. SounRAB like you need to call your doctor!

I hope you get it resolved quickly.
