lower back pain

I have lower back pain when I jog for no more than seven to eight minutes. I stretch before and after, and I work out three times per week.
 
Diesel, running is one of the hardest things you can do to your back. Any of us that have had any type of back problems, doctors have told them not to do it. Just think about it when you are running, you feet are pounding the pavement and your back is taking the shock of the impact.

If you have any spinal problems at all, I would not run but from your post I can't tell if you have a history of back problems or not.

If the pain continues and you really want to run, I would see your doctor and let him order any necessary tests.
