I'm a 17 year old girl and for the past week or so I've been getting sharp pains in my lower back off and on. It comes randomly. Its usually on both sides of my lower back, sometimes not, or sometimes sharper on one side. Sometimes its sharp enough to make me take a deep breath and hold it because it hurts so bad, but it usually won't last long. I have no idea what this could be from, I haven't lifted anything heavy that would mess up my back. I am on my period though, by I don't think this would be caused by that.
