I want to attend top tier law schools like Emory, Georgia State, UGA, Univ. Of Miami, etc..but I am somewhat hesitant to apply for law school because I have a very llow undergraduate gpa 2.48; however, I have a graduate degree and my gpa is 3.41. I have four years of work experience in government and non-profit area if which I conduct informal hearings along with attorneys. I really want to attend Emory Univ but due to my gpa I'm somewhat apprehensive in applying. I have been out of undergrad six years and grad three years so I have matured. Since undergrad. My law ugpa is due to me getting sick which caused a lot of withdrawals and "F's" but I'm willing to retake the classes prior to applying if need to be to help me get into a top tier law school do understand I have to score high on the LSAT (165-170) in order for any law schools to consider my application. I will be in my 30's so I'm already at a disadvantage due to my age(starting law school late). Any suggestion or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
