recently had lab work come back with a sodium level of 124, was called back to recheck it and the new sodium test came back at 130. Was put on high blood presser meds but that was the day I had the lab work taken, so that cant be the reason for the low level. Dr said because of ongoing problems with my back and gaining weight he would'nt worry about it and they will monitor it on every visit, which is 3 months. From everything I seen on i
internet about low sodium levels and how serious they can be say below 130 is serious do not take litely, and under 125 is dangerous. And not to drink any water, thats the worse thing you can do. My dr was more or less not worried,anyone that has this, or had this problem is he right and not to worry ? or is a second opinion a good idea. Thank you
