My dad is admitted in the hospital due to an infection in his leg which needed debridiment.
The wound is large, running below his knee to the just above the foot.
He is a CKD/diabetic patient.
Doctors told me his pre-albumin levels are low and shows signs of malnourishment.
They are giving him a nutrition bag through IV and "boost" drink.
Is there any supplement that's better than boost that I could get him?
Any ideas about how to help his wound heal faster?
