I have a 1996 Honda Accord and have had it for about a year. What I've noticed is that when I drive from a full tank to nearly an empty tank - I drove for about 275 miles. What I'm wondering is that the gas tank is 17 gallons - so am I really only getting 16 MPG on a Honda Accord? What should I check for? I'm pretty sure mileage (About 200,000) and the age has to do something with it, right?
I forgot to mention that it was purchased from a salvaged title and was in a junk yard for a couple years.
