Two of my close friends are intending on getting married within the next year or two. He is Messianic Jew, and she is Baptist, so they wanted to rule out a 'traditional' church wedding, and instead opted to have an outdoor wedding, and just have the chupah, the breaking of the glass, etc. Both are more towards the laid back style, so they want to do a more casual formal wedding.
Can you suggest any locations for them? Both are college students, with very little financial support from their parents. Is it possible to rent a park? What are ways to cut corners, without making anything tacky or cheap looking?
