What can cause body temperature to be low? I've experienced my body temperature to drop from 96.8 to 95.5. At which I began to experience chills and dizziness. I was inside at the time and the surrounding temperature was about 70. I took some Ibuprophen and 2 1/2 hours later I finally got warm and I took my temperature again it was 97.1.
