I'm not pissed off, sorry if I came off that way. As for the second part of your post, girl, if I knew that I'd be rich. The only thing I can say is let time run its course. Then your ex will be a gentle simmer in the back of your mind that you can look back on from time to time. Or, for those less patient, get drunk off your ass, and let the next day's hangover headache take care of it.:D

Did the drinking thing for about a year. It was fun, I had good times. I'm over that now.

Did the sitting on the face thing. Though maybe I need to do a little more. After all, the best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody else.

And time does not help.

And I know I sound pathetic.

6 little words: i'm not straight, but i'll learn :P

j/k getting over an ex can be hard. i still haven't gotten over some women i loved, even though they're not technically exes. i find a hobby works well. it keeps my mind occupied.

i'm not. i'm an asshole at ALL points in my life.

and back to the topic, tell him how you feel. just come out and say it. if the friendship is strong enough it'll survive. who knows, maybe he'll realize he feels the same for you. if not, at least you were honest about your feelings to him. maybe it'll inspire him to do the same to your friend and you can be happy for them or console him if he's rejected.
