I want to climb the walls surrounding your heart
Infiltrate your love and do battle with your insecurities
I want to conquer your doubts and rule King of your everything
My love is promised
Even if tomorrow does not dawn upon us
I want us to be as we should
No eyes for others
Why bother?
Approval from your mother and father
Just you...

Victim of other men's transgressions
Instead of taking it as a lesson
Stockholm syndrome
You took to your heart to defend them
Until they eventually left
Defenses torn down as you wept
Longing for them
Over time
Your heart and mind became fortified
Many men came and went
Couldn't withstand your defense
That's when I stepped in
Hand holding your face
gently by your chin and asked,
"Wave that white flag"
Surrender to my love
Give in to your feelings
Lay down your arms
It's just me
A deep sigh
She smiled
Hey there beautiful
It's been awhile

All smiles and laughter don't look alike
When i hold a rose
I only felt the thorns
Is the knowledge of mankind
In the pages of books?
Is the wisdom of human
In their ages
No, it's never right, haha
For when a fool looks into her eyes
The story ends in a different kind
The meaning is simple
Cause love is blind indeed.
