I just wanted to know if it is absolutely necessary to LOVE sciences to be successful in med school. I've spoken to some dental students that dont really like the classes, but they take them as they are needed for them to be a dentist. Is it the same for med students or no? Reason I ask this is because I really love helping people in a clinical setting and have shadowed some docs. I absolutely rock/do well in laboratories for science courses, especially Microbiology, because I'm a visual learner and I love hands-on type of things. I also love learning about infectious diseases. However, when I sit in science classes like cell bio, enzymes, operons, and cycles don't really interest me. Serious answers, please. Thanks!
