Love Film's latest cock up.

I have just got my latest rentals from Love Film and they stuffed 3 DVRAB in one envelope. When it got to my door,the envelope was wide open as it could not cope with the bulk.

Now I know greedy LF are trying hard to save money by encouraging people to put up to 4 DVRAB in one envelope but they should make sure that all their DVRAB are in the new thin envelope system first.

Otherwise,its a hard to get and send them back in a secure condition without them getting lost in the post!

Has anyone else had the same problem?
 
I noticed this yesterday also, 2 films int he plastic cases in 1 envelope, and it wasn't sealed. :mad:

I was actually amazed neither film fell out or the posty didn't nick one of them, I would never have known.

This is rather tight I think, they didn't even put a 2nd return envelope in there :confused:
 
This saves them money in three ways, so it's not surprising. Not just postage to you, and then back to them, but also, if you only have one envelope, you can only send them back together, not individually as you watch them, meaning they need fewer people in their sorting centre :mad:
 
Its not happened to me (YET! - touch wood) but it has happened to a friend of mine.

I received mine today in separate envelopes though - the lack of consistency is a bit odd
 
It's so bizarre, all I've read on here about lovefilm is bad things yet all the months we have been members we have found them absolutely brilliant (touch wood it stays that way!!!)

Guess its just the luck of the draw! :rolleyes:
 
The rental thing is definitely getting better for us good old customers. Prices seem to be comming down number of titles seem to be coming up. This site rental reviews reviews the various providers. When you look at it does how gr8 things r getting. You could spend you life going from one free trial to nthe next :D
