im going to an incredibly overpriced lounge tonight as part of a large group at the will of my girlfriend because it is her birthday. i hate dressing up, but i like to fit in wherever i go. on the web i have seen the dress code for the place listed as both Dress To Impress and Upscale Casual. naturally their website's photo gallery offers only scene pictures of the lounge, and no people for appearance reference.
ive gone to 'upscale' clubs in the past and my usual get-up is a dark button-down with pressed jeans and my amazingly versatile/fancy black slip-ons. but this place appears to be more of a lounge (though there is a dj) so im not sure if jeans are even appropriate.
as far as non-sneakers go, i have black and brown shoes. i have a black blazer, what color shirt can i wear under it? help!
