Louis Vuitton vs. Dooney and Bourke? Which lasts longer and is better for a...

...college student? I'm saving for a designer tote and I want a bag that is respected not only while I'm in school but in the workforce.

Many people say Louis Vuitton is more grown-up but with the rising popularity of D&B, would my buying the latter be a better investment? Also which one LASTS LONGER? This is a bag I'll use regularly and I don't want it to wear out prematurely...Thanks in advance!
 
Neither one will last longer...the best purse you can but is a Coach purse...they hold up the best. They get wet they dry...you can also wash them if they get dirty. The other two are nice labels but do not stand up to the test of time.
