Loud, vibrating sound coming from back of car?

I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GI with about 59,000 miles on it. Sometimes when I am at a complete stop (mostly in somewhat cooler weather -- 60 degrees or less), there will be this loud, vibrating sound coming from the back of the car. It almost sounds like the muffler. What would be your best bet?
