Ok, i have a 2003 mazda 6. Last summer it started making a very loud noise when i turn the steering wheel left or right and even when im going straight, go over a bump or start using the breaks. I almost don't know how to describe the noise but to me it sounds like a rubbing/grinding noise when i turn and more of a clicking/popping noise when im going straight or when someone gets in and sits down on the passenger side. It sounds like it's coming from the front end, and you can hear it from outside of the car as well. It's not the breaks because I recently had them all replaced, I've checked the power steering fluid so that's not it either. This could be completely irrelevent, but it seems to only happen when it's hot outside. ( I live in Las Vegas.) I took it to the Mazda dealer last summer, but they couldn't find what was wrong with it. When fall and winter came it was completely fine and i never heard the noise, but now it's doing it again. I recently took it to another shop and they replaced some tie rods and a couple other parts (not sure what, sorry I don't know much about cars) but that didn't fix it either. It almost seems like it has something to do with too much pressure sitting on top of something that's causing the horrible noise, because when the mechanic was looking at it, he lifted the body up from the wheels, turned the wheel, and there was no noise. Since I've heard the noise, I've spent over $2500 having work done on it and trying to get it fixed but no one can seem to fix it for good. The noise is driving me crazy so if anyone has had the same problem or knows what it could be please leave a response!!!
