My sister and i are trying to start a tradition of camping with out daughters (2yrs and 8yrs). we also both have small dogs that will be going. i have done camping with my two yorkies and my 8yr old daughter and we will be camping in our rv as we always do. my sister hasn't been camping in years and this is her dog (a jack russel) and daughter's (2yrs) first time camping. my dogs are ladies through and through and my daughter is a camping pro, but we have always gone alone. my sisters jack russel is high strung and noisey. we did make reservations at a dog friendly camp ground (that i have camped at before) and i did ask to be as far from others as they can put my rv. is there anything else i can do to make this trip successful and fun for all of us, as my sister refuses to leave her dog at home.
I know the problem is that the dog doesn't get enough walking time and play time. and if i had my way he wouldn't come at all, but he is. =( He makes me glad i trained my dogs. they are a pleasure to take and eveyone loves them.
Also she isnt staying in my rv. she is camping in her pop-up beside me.
