Loud ass commercials

You know what really grinds my gears? When I'm watching TV and some random commercial's volume is over 9,000 decibels louder than the program I'm watching. That shit startles my dog and pisses me off. Who is responsible for this? Is it the network or the marketing company? When this happens I get so fucking angry, the arteries in my forehead bulge out. I hate when it happens.

I suspect they're all fictitious products and services. It's always shit I don't want or need, and I've never heard off the brand or company. It's gotta be a couple of jackasses doing it for the lulz. They're sitting around saying "huh huh, let's randomly piss people off by making super-loud, gay-ass commercials and buy some time slots on a bunch of networks for it. We'll piss off millions of people. Fuck yeah! Let's do it!". Who are these scat-munching dickheads? I want to know, because they have succeeded in earning my wrath.

I hate it, but I also thought it is set up that way for the fuckers that get up to do other shit during commercials. I dunno.

"We will be heard. Deal with it".

They've been doing that on "free" tv for ages

I think primarily it's all in the production/engineering. I once noticed that some of my CD's required the sound to be a little higher than with the others. It's normal, mostly. With commercials' volumes in relation to shows, I believe there is a maximum limit imposed by the FCC, but they're too busy listening to FM Radio morning shows waiting to hear one fart joke that just barely crosses the line. That, no one knows about it to report it, or the people who know don't really care.

I may be speaking in ignorance here, but I believe that's the case.

It's one of the reasons I gave up TV years ago... commercials.

If you have to be significantly louder than everyone else, you probably don't have anything useful to say.
