Lost weight, exercising; how long until I trim down?

I was 183 lbs about three weeks ago. I began an extreme diet, usually <900 calories a day (don't lecture me, I know) and exercising daily.

Today, I'm between 165-167 lbs, having dropped to 165 lbs in 12 days, and am still exercising (25-40mins jogging on the spot/treadmill daily; push ups/sit ups once or twice a week; working out at the gym for about an hour 4 times a week).

Most of my gym workouts consist mainly of pectoral, ab, and triceps exercises, to target chug around my chest and gut.

The last few days I've had between 800-900 calories consisting of about 70-80g of carbs and 35-40g of fat.

Without being even more specific, my problem is I've lost all this weight and I'm exercising so much but I'm not trimming down much. I have trimmed down a little bit noticeably, but I thought dropping nearly 20 lbs would have a more significant change in appearance.
If I kept dieting and exercising at this pace, how much longer will it take to notice more of a difference? Anybody able to offer any tips to make this process go quicker?

Thanks :-)
