My brother wanted me to write this question for him...
My grandparents bought his car for him when he was 16. Their only condition was that my dad & my brother BOTH would be listed on the title so my brother couldn't "do something stupid" and sell his car.
Anyway, my brother is coming down here for his 3rd year of college on Sunday. He wanted to have my dad removed from the title of his car. My dad agreed. They went to the DMV (in MD) and the department that handles titles was closed. They went to the store and my brother grabbed a magazine for me & stuck his title inside it. He left it in my dad's car & my dad cleaned out the car & now the magazine & the title are missing. =/
Can they get a new title? Does the DMV make copies?
