Lost the remote to my Inoi media player?

I have a 320g Inoi media player that comes with a timy remote that I have seem to have misplaced. I can still attach to my pc with ubs cable and it works like a external hard drive, but to play files on my tv i need the remote to turn on and play. It doesnt have any buttons on the side, is there any other way to use it without the remote?? I tried a universal remote - guy at store said it was the best one - but that didnt work. Thanks
