I have a fairly new laptop whose HDD crashed and I needed a new one. Laptop now to factory but I misplaced the CD with the key for the preinstalled (Dell) Office Home and Student 2007. Tried to use 2 programs to extract key from registry but not there- Microsoft will not help. Dell said they do not keep keys. What are my options??? Looked all over but do not see my exact situation. I can only open Word 15 more times without product key! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
