Lost my internet on jan 5th 2011

moto droid on cyan6.1, everything was working flawlessly on jan 4th, i wake up next morning, and nothing.

im in the buffalo ny market. ive reset, repartitioned, reflashed and wiped data several times...when i try to connect i get..

data connectivity problem
server failed to comminucate, try again later.

im able to ping the server, wap.mycricket.com

what gives????????
 
You're not alone.. The problem lies on the network configuration on Crickets part. Nothing front lines can do.. They are tweaking compability protocols.. Also, they've been switching to new s/w what Ive heard.

I thought that Cricket may have pulled data provisioning on flashed phones (which there were rumors about this recently). I switched from my $45/mo rate plan to the Android $55/mo plan and removed u2nl, etc...

Still a no go!

So looks like I wasted my time. I know a few other people that are also suffering from no web.
 
Problem has been resolved. However I do not want to post the solution so cricket does not patch, if they even would....BUT I'm very easy to get ahold of, check my profile, and u can find out where to contact me.
 
Unfortunately it has happened to me as well. However once I called Cricket and had them change my setttings now I get super fast internet (NO MATTER WHAT ROM I CHOOSE) but still no MMS. Try flashing a new rom or reflashing your current rom and you should get talk/text/internet right after you boot. I've switched roms so many times trying to get it to work. No u2nl files or autoroot needed.....so I hear.....
 
I had an EVO working perfectly and since then it has throttled back to under 100kbps!!! I am on the android plan and still nothing. Never experienced anything like this.... Please help!
 
cricket is ripping people off if you tell them you have a flashed phone they put it in the comp an your services will drop off goto mycricket.com/myaccount an check your account. i did an i have the 45 all in plan an the only services that show up are talk text inter. text caller id 3way voicemail an paperless billing. pic messaging, video messaging, mobile web an navigation dont even show up under features i called cricket 3 times an all 3 times they added those features back supposedly, then the 3rd guy i talked to finally told me he could add them a million times but because i have a flashed phone they might continue to drop off so i said basically im paying 45 a month for the 35 plan he said no no no, i said yeah i am paying 45 a month for the same services everyone who has the 35 plan recieves because i have a flashed phone an he said well if you wanna look at it that way yeah, so not only did he contradict himself, he admitted they are ripping us off an there is nothin we can. what a bunch of bullsh*t in my opinion, is there anyone that works for cricket that can confirm what this guy is saying or are they just feeding a line of crap, do these services really just fall off your plan or am i in fact getting fu*#ed?
