Years and years ago, I saw at the cinema a film with the above title. It was a remake of one that was called Shangri La. It was a musical, and the star was the lovely Aussie bloke, sadly now departed, Peter Finch. It's about a group of people in Tibet (Yeti land) and they go through some rocks and find a wonderful paradise with people living in peace and harmony! I would so like to see this film again. I have tried the usual sources, (Google, Amazon, etc) to see if it's been made into a DVD or Video, and even searched for the cassette, because I used to have a copy of this (sad I know!) Has anyone else got any ideas of how to track this down?

Wow, thanks so much for that. I really didn't hold out much hope. Only thing is, do you think it will play in UK? Are VHS video tapes in Canada the same as ours does anyone know?
 
Canadian tapes won't normally play in the Uk, unless your video & TV are NTSC compatable (many newer ones are).

As Fizzbin says, US systems use NTSC which aren't necessarily compatible with your VCR/TV system. Check your manuals before you buy ;) You can always try searching other auction sites and eBay.co.uk on a semi-regular basis for a PAL copy...
 
Thanks everyone. Looks like I will have to give the video a miss then, but maybe I will go for the cd in the meantime, guess I'll have to keep on looking. Cheers :)
