K quick durab question if I restore back to factory setting...can I retrieve my calendar n notes I backed them up before I dloaded ios5 on my 3GS....I had to load it as new phone
 
yes just make sure that you restore to a backup so you have all the data there or simply do an update so you dont have to go through the restore from backup process.. also make sure that you have authorised your computer for those paid for apps you if you have downloaded any from the app store
