Losing High School Friends...?

Im heading to separate colleges with my bestfriends and we wouldnt be able to see each other often so i need to know that...
Do you lose high school friendships after times in college?????
Oh yea and when ur friends with kids in college are you closer than ur old high school friends and do you spend much time together??
 
You loose contact with some, however it's up to both people in a friendship to put effort into maintaining a relationship (or keeping contact).
Facebook is a great way to talk to them and keep 'up to date' with what going on in each others lives.
Throughout this period you will develop new friends, it's quite possible you'll develop a close knit friendship group that you'll care about just as much as the one you currently have. This isn't in anyway a betrayel to your high school friends.

I lost contact with just about everyone I went to school with. When you go to college, you'll make plenty of new friends and hang around together and spend time together. Obviously, if you were VERY close with your friends at high school, you'll keep in touch, but you'll inevitably have to drift slightly apart as you won't be seeing one another all the time.
 
yaeh many times this happen.. but its life.. one has to move.. just see from ur side u wont give a chance to ur frds to complain the same
