Lose belt on a 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Jeep Liberty 2007 4x2 3.7L V6.

Hello.
My Jeep Liberty's belt is lose. I can fit a finger between the belt and the pulleys. It's a single belt system. This problem caused overheating, loss of steering power and battery drain (since all these things are connected to the same belt system.

The belt seems fine. No tears or cracks.
How do I tighten the belts system again?

you have to make sure that one of the pulleys that the belt is on is not lose or bent

the problem is that it is an american car
what you need to do is buy a new belt because the belts in the jeep tend to stretch out over time which makes them loose

Some cars come with an idle pulley that you can adjust to tighten up the belt.
