Lord of War DVD has product Advert

I dont buy too many movies on DVD (i usualy buy TV shows) but being a fan of Nick Cage and being told how good this movie is ,i decided to buy it.

i am aoutraged that a Mars Advert can be on this DVD with no ability to skip or fast-forward.

How dare , how god damn dare , momentum(or who ever it is who gets that money) accept money from MasterfooRAB for an advert to insert into a dvd.
One of the main reason people buy DVRAB and Videos is because we are pissed off with adverts on TV.(i do know other reasons so dont argue for no reason)

i can understand Momentum or 20th century fox logos ,, or even dolby or thx,,,,, BUT adverts for products like food are totaly out of the question..

i'll never ever eat another Masterfood product again ,, Boycott Mars and snickers and the rest of their shiffty crap ..
and this movie can go back to the shop where i bought it ..
 
I cant stand DVD's with anything at the beginning which you cant skip (Trailers, Adverts, Piracy fills Bin Ladens pockets crap etc etc) it's not so much watching it the first time which pees you off its the fact you can never skip it so even in 20 years time I might pull it out and have to see some trailer for an ancient film!

The best bit about DVD's to start with was you didnt get the rubbish at the beginning which you had to fast forward like on VHS but now you cant even skip it even if you've watched the DVD 200 times :mad:
 
Wow 2 replies that arnt ripping into me ,, glad to see others feel the same way ,, you know the Marsa advert where the lad is going up the escelator and the girl is on the other side , its that damn advert.
 
I am sick to death of the anti piracy ad where they say "you wouldnt steal a car" etc etc. The music is so annoying the 500th time you have to watch it!! Sometimes you can fast forward it but in most cases you cant avoid it. I usually turn the volume down!
 
I've got the fast and the furious with a public service anouncement with Paul Walker sponsored by some oil that we probably don't get in England.
 
LOL your so right .

I dont have any Pirate DVD's or Cd's ,,thats not because i think its wrong ,, its because its illegal and the quality is poor..(ok before people argue their is a difference between something being wrong and something being illegal)

now i dont own any illegal stuff , so why must i suffer these things that tell me to not do the thing i'm not doing.

now if their where adverts on them pirated DVD's i would understand .. but its not , you buy the real legal one to be told that you are probably a theif anyway ..
 
Yeah it does seem kinda stupid. Putting the anti piracy adverts on legitimate DVD's. They're preaching to the converted.
 
exactly , why tell me not to buy illegals ,, obviously i didnt buy the one i'm watching illegal , so its likely i'm not one of the theives.
