Lord of the Rings fans/owners only question about dvd?

Okay for the first movie on the regular dvd, is there a section about the costumes or showing them put on elves ears or the wigs (orlando in particular)? or showing character costume sketches? if so where is it? i'm renting the dvd and it doesn';t say on the back. I do own the extended versionl
