Looking to replace my CDM-9900 without loosing features.

My wife and I just moved from Honolulu, to San Angelo, TX. We both have Verizon with Audiovox (Toshiba) CDM-9900 phones. My phone works pretty good but Verizon doesn't have ANY towers within an hour dirve of here. I mostly get Alltel towers with some Sprint. I was thinking of changing to Sprint as my contract with Verizon is up 06 Oct 06. I really don't want to pay more than $50 after rebates for each phone, if I can get away with it. I was looking on www.amazon.com YESTERDAY and they had a bunch of great deals and free phones; some of them were just discontinued but had good features. One of the phones that was free yesterday was the Samsung MM-A920. Today I go and look and it's all cheaper on www.sprint.com. The Sanyo 8400 looks like teH sweetness though. I just don't want to pay $100 for each of them.

[edit] I noticed places like www.letstalk.com, www.wirefly.com and www.easycellphones.com offer better prices than Sprint does. They don't have the 8400 yet but if they do carry it at a good price, will there be any way to transfer my existing numbers to Sprint if I purchase from one of those suppliers? I already checked and Sprint said thy could transfer them.

Miniumum features I want:
240x320 main display
64x64 color outside display
camera with video, 2x digital zoom, .3 MP
some way that isn't too expensive so I can upload my own ringtones. (not MIDI either)
decent speakerphone
decent to good battery life
