Looking to buy a 1997 Ford F-250 Powerstroke turbo 2WD?

I am looking to buy a 1997 ext. cab 2WD Ford F-250 Powerstroke turbo. I wanted to know if these things have some get up and gooo??? This truck has only 81,000 miles (highway miles) on it so I am guessing and hope it does. I was also wondering, do these things sit up pretty high stock wise??? It is a 2WD but I want it to sit up higher than like a F-150. Just give me some ideas on how high they are and do they have some get up and go!!!
