My dad is giving me 250$ for my birthday to setup my 55g freshwater tropical fish tank.
I am moving to NY in about 1 1/2 months but i wont be setting it up for another 4-5 months probably
is 250$ enough to get the tank ( maybe a kit? ) filter, heater, gravel, fake/real plants, decorations and all that?
what is a good online store to go aquarium shopping? i have looked at about 25 websites and i go there, go to larger aquariums and all it has is either a 29g tank with stand and all or a 55g STAND, i want to buy the tank with a stand and hood that has a built in light, please mention some websites?
I pplan to make the tank heavily planted so i will need some good lighting, how much do 55g bulbs cost and how often do you need to replace them?
