You can get weather protection from a modern synthetic riding suit. Their primary purpose is crash protection, and some are more waterproof than others, but except for the mesh products, they will all keep you dry to a greater or lesser degree. Leathers will keep the rain out for a while, but will eventually get waterlogged, so you need a rain suit you can wear over them.

Riding in the rain can actually be enjoyable. A couple of products have gone a long way to improve the experience for me: Aerostich lobster claw overmitts, and Sidi On-Road Sympatex boots, which have remained waterproof for me for 18 years.

I'm 16 and i am honestly unsure of some things about getting a bike
I am very interested in a sports bike the price, mpg, and the fun I've had on one. There's just one factor i have trouble with. How do i manage in the rain i know they make suits but i would just like feedback from some actual riders. I mean how could i take my girlfriend out wouldn't that be a little difficult. Also any ideas for bikes I've looked at the Kawasakis my price range is around 3,000-4,000. Thats not including the gear
