I am considering buying a bike just for traveling long distances when time is free. I w would like to do a few century races. Terrain would be mix of dirt and road, but mainly riding on the road. I am not looking to spend more than $800, but willing to spend upwards to $1200. Are there any bikes to look into or recommend? Appreciate the response.
