The book that I am looking for....I read somewhere between 1995 and 1998. It is a murder thriller novel. With the help of a woman with psychic abilities, law enforcement track down a sophisticated killer. He shaves all of the hair on his body and does all types of various things to keep his DNA from the scene. As he kills she sees what he does and so forth, but he wont look in a mirror so that she can see who he is. She senses everything he does. I remember one scene in particular he is hiding behind the island in the kitchen when one of his victims comes home.
The person who wrote it writes in the style of Kay Hooper and Tess Gerrisen but I have researched all of their books and it isn't either of them. I have been looking for this book for about 10 years now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
