OKay, I am in a cellphone rut right now, because there is simply nothing out there that I want....period. So, I'd like to see what your guys opinions are on a new phone for myself. Here are my requirements.
Has to have some sort of a card slot for expandable memory. Or a hard drive.
Has to have some sort of high speed connection (either EDGE or WiFi).
Has to be some what customizeable. (themes, wallpapers, etc)
Needs to have mp3 ringtones for contacts and message tones.
And has to be small in size.
Now, what I want my phone to do is:
I'd like to be able to control my Winamp playing from my computer thru my cellphone. Just like ControlFreak does for Symbian phones...
I'd like to be able to watch movies, like divx, mpegs, etc...
Photo Caller ID, not just thumbnails but a nice big picture.
And I'd like to be able to stream music from my cellphone to a car stereo thru a headphone jack, either built in or with an adapter. And the software I use has to have an equalizer.
----
Now that being said: I currently have a Windows Mobile phone (SMT-5600) and I love the size and look of this phone. But, the software avalible for it is pretty small. No where near like the wide selection Symbian users have.
I was a Symbian user for a long time, but got tired of having a big bulky phone.
So, where do I go from here?
I dont want a Pocket PC because those phones are huge. I dont want another Windows phone because of the software issues. And I dont want a Symbian phone because of their size. And I dont want a non-smartphone since you cant really do as much with it...its basically whatever the features are and thats that. Where as with a Smartphone, your features change everytime you install a new piece of software.
I know I sound like im whining, and Im looking for a phone that doesnt exist, but thats why I am here asking for your advice. As of right now, the outlook for a new phone is pretty small. I pretty much have a complaint on any phone I see (isnt that sad?)
The only phone I am considering is a Nokia 6620, which I already had. But its cheap, and it does pretty much what I want... But its out dated and its a big phone. So I would just be "settling" and un-happy
Feel free to post anything. Im open to any advice you have to give me Thanks In Advance!
