Looking for the name of book n author, Scifi/fantasy, Think its a trillogy,

pritty good, but name escapes me.? woman gets stuck on other planet, her student id and passport stolen, so shes on the streets reading fortunes from cards, a well dressed man comes up to her and asks her to read him a strange deck of Tarot cards, she finds out she can see bits and pieces of the future, they go on to have adventures together, they marry and the last part she was told she was to bring "new blood" into his family, however she ends up adopting some kid...

i remember large chunks of the storys however i cant remember the author and name of the trillogy to save my life lol, please help?
