Im going to try and be as specific as I can so i dont get the same usualy responses (Twilight, Vampire Chronicles, Harry Potter, Eragon). Im looking for two different types of books.
First type Super powered! Something extreme shooting out lightning bolts, energy blasts anything over the top powerful but nothing medieval. Im looking for something with alot of conflict and preferably a multiple book series. I read the star wars books to for fill this need but ide like something off every now and then. The greatest thing I could think of in this genre is Dragon ball Z meets Dune/Enders game.
Second type Supernatural! Ok i like dragons vampires etc but im more interested in conflict than their love lives I dont care for poorly written vampire love stories whos appeal is based on romance. If you could continue expand or whatever the Underworld to encompass a longer time frame and more character depth ide be into that.
My thing is being able to gauge characters strength and weakness's and seeing them go up against other characters much stronger then them and win or surpass them somehow not sure if that's immature or whatever but that's what im into.
