In my school, Kazaa was sorta taboo because it "gave you viruses" and such, so everyone used limewire. And I believed it was safe.

So naive back then

You can't even download an mp3 file off limewire without it being either a girl moaning or an ad lol.

I remember not having to worry about a single thing using imesh back in the day....:sadwalk:

Very faintly, because right when Imesh was sued and shutdown is when I got into filesharing.
Prior to that I just thought Imesh was the holy grail for everything, and didn't even try to venture away.

I used kazaa for a little bit, before switching to limewire.

I didn't use it too much either (or not as much as I do with torrents now), but I do have good memories of downloading music using Kazaa at a cafe :happy: 56K home transfer speeds just didn't cut it.
